aumix-gtk software package provides Simple mixer control program with GUI and text interfaces, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aumix-gtk
aumix-gtk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aumix-gtk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aumix-gtk *
You will get with aumix-gtk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
